Account and Data Deletion

If you would like to delete your account and all associated data from the Moteng app, follow the steps below.

🔐 How to Request Deletion

Method 1: In the App

1. Open the Moteng app.
   
   

2. Go to Profile > Delete Account.
   
   

3. Confirm deletion when prompted.
   
   

This will delete:

• Your Firebase user account
  
  

• All personal details (name, phone, suburb, email)
  
  

• All documents and uploaded files (if applicable)
  
  
  

❗ Your device fingerprint will be stored for up to 1 year to prevent abuse and fake account creation.

Method 2: By Email (if you can't access the app)

Send an email to: meiwa.moteng@gmail.com
Use the subject: Delete My Moteng Account
Include your:

• Full name
  
  

• Phone number
  
  

• Email used in the app
  
  

We'll delete your account within 7 working days.

🔄 What Happens After Deletion

• Your account will no longer be accessible.
  
  

• All personal and driver data will be permanently removed.
  
  

• Your device fingerprint will be kept for up to 12 months for fraud prevention.
