4. Payments

Moteng uses Paystack for all payment transactions. Payment data is collected and processed by Paystack through a secure WebView. We do not store any payment information ourselves.

5. Data Storage and Security

• Your data is stored securely in Google Firebase, with access restricted by security rules.
  
  

• Data is encrypted both in transit and at rest through Firebase and Paystack’s built-in security infrastructure.
  
  

• We do not share your data with any other third parties besides Firebase and Paystack.
  
  

• Only Paystack handles payment information directly, and Moteng never stores card details.
  
  

• Admins review driver-submitted data (such as documents and photos) to verify identity and approve account status.

6. Push Notifications

• Riders receive notifications if they opt-in for ride alerts near their saved address.
  
  

• Drivers receive notifications about account status changes (e.g., approval updates).
  
  

• All notifications are operational. We do not send marketing or promotional messages.
  
  

7. Account Deletion

Users can delete their accounts at any time, and all personal data will be removed except the device fingerprint, which we retain for up to one year to prevent fraud and account spamming.

8. Age Restrictions

Moteng does not have a strict age limit, but is intended for individuals old enough to independently use public transport.

9. Policy Updates

We will notify all users via push notifications if there are any changes to this privacy policy. Continued use means you accept the updated Policy.
